I completed my survey using my teaching methods from my last full time teaching experience two years ago. Unfortunatley, I do not have the freedom I would like to experiment using technology with my students. These are the scores that I recieved:
The two areas I need to improve upon are Student Expression and Administrative Tasks.
Student Expression:
To improve upon student expression in my practices I can encourage students to use many resources to plan and publish there work. Some suggested EdTech locator made were the use of the BioCube from readwritethink, cartoonbuilder and Reading Pen Pals.
Administrative Tasks:
To improve upon using technology to enrich my administrative practices I am going to attempt to use online resources to help with planning and communication between coworkers.
The EdTech Locator suggested websites such as Assign-a-day calendars, rubistar to create rubrics and web poster wizard which would allow me to share lesson plans and other documents with parents or coworkers.
